KUCHING: Place your faith in Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg and be confident of the vehicle — GPS — which is the best so far.

This is the message from Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) president Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Jemut Masing at the inaugural GPS Convention here, yesterday.

Describing the GPS party as a bus where the driver is Abang Johari, Masing said, “All the GPS members are the passengers of the bus and as passengers we should put our trust in and give support to our driver in transporting us to the destination safely.

“It is normal for a bus journey where there are times that we encounter smooth routes and the bad ones like potholes and crooked roads.

“But we should continue to put trust in the driver who would ensure that we arrive at the destination safely, and in defending the rights and interests of Sarawakians.”

Masing went on to say that despite the rough and challenging roads, it is very important for the people to stay united.

“We need to be resilient and to have faith in our driver and be confident that our vehicle is the best we have so far.

“Therefore, we must ensure there are no enemies from among us,” he said.
