UiTM campus to host InnoSTRE 2020

KUCHING: Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Sarawak Branch Samarahan Campus will host the first global summit on viral-immunology and antiviral therapy of Covid-19 on Nov 25 and 26.

This is a special edition of Innovative Sciences and Technologies for Research and Education (InnoSTRE) hybrid conference which offers participants a choice to attend and engage in face-to-face interactions with audiences or optionally, utilise the use of online meeting software applications that do not require the participants to gather at one venue.

The main objective of the conference is to provide a platform for local and international participants from both academic and industries to present their authoritative knowledge and up-to-date research findings.

The conference will also provide an opportunity to highlight the most recent innovation in science and technology developments and identifying emerging and future areas of growth and collaboration in embracing the post Covid-19 challenges.

The main topics are Viral-immunology and Antiviral Therapy of Covid-19. However, other subjects of interest include, but are not limited to — Economic and Finance, Medical and Health, Social and Community, Tourism and Travel, Border and National Security, Employment and Labour, Agriculture and Food Security, among others.

Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg is expected to launch the international conference.

The event is organised by Asia-China Education and Culture Association (ACEC) in collaboration with UiTM in conjunction with the ‘Belt and Road’ University Asean Tour Exhibition.
