MUKAH: A total of 506 food baskets were distributed to the residents in Ulu Baoh, Dalat near here who are being put under quarantine.
This confinement was conducted subsequent to the three positive cases of Covid-19 reported in the area on Thursday.
Tellian assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo said the food items were distributed through frontliners.
“Today another 481 food baskets will be distributed to Ulu Baoh,” he told the media via WhatsApp today.
He added a few families in housing areas here involved in house quarantines would also be given food baskets, and the Tellian Constituency Service Centre was in the process of preparing it.
The former Balingian assemblyman thanked Mukah Division Disaster Management Committee and departments involved in handing over the assistance to those people under seclusion in Ulu Baoh, Dalat.
