BINTULU: Minister of Food Industry, Commodities and Regional Development Datuk Seri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom hopes to work closely with his newly appointed federal counterpart Mohamad Sabu to boost Sarawak’s potential as a regional food hub.

He also hopes to have good cooperation and understanding with other newly appointed federal ministers.

“With the high commitment of the state and federal governments, it is hoped the rights of Sarawak as enshrined in the Malaysia Agreement 1963 and the Inter-Governmental Committee (IGC) Report are realised as well,” he said in a statement today.
