KUCHING: Representatives from Beijing BECA Sci-Tech Co., Ltd and Sinopec Engineering Incorporation yesterday had a meeting with Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan at his office in Wisma Sumber Alam here.
Beijing BECA Sci-Tech Co., Ltd was represented by its chairman Dong Chao, while Sinopec Engineering Incorporation was represented by its vice chief engineer, Huo Hongwei.
During the meeting, they briefed Awang Tengah, who is also International Trade and Industry, Industrial Terminal & Entrepreneur Development and Second Minister of Urban Development and Resources, on the progress of the feasibility study on the proposed investment of aromatics/olefins refinery integrated project in the state.
The meeting was also attended by Entrepreneur & SME Development Assistant Minister and Assistant Minister for e-Commerce Datuk Mohd Naroden Majais and the Permanent Secretary for the ministry as well as other heads of departments.
