Awang Tengah continues to promote Sarawak to S Korean investors

KUCHING: Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan yesterday continued meeting with several South Korean companies interested in green fuel from palm oil, specialty steel and float glass manufacturing in Sarawak.

During the meeting in Seoul, he informed them on the investment opportunities in Sarawak including the many industrial parks developed to cater for their projects and the incentives available for such investment.

Awang Tengah, who is in Seoul, South Korea for a working visit, assured the potential investors that the state government welcomed investment and would facilitate the implementation of their projects.

Also present were Entrepreneur Development and Small and Medium Enterprise Assistant Minister Datuk Naroden Majais, Industrial Development Assistant Minister Malcolm Mussen Lamoh and Industrial and Entrepreneur Development Ministry permanent secretary Datuk Liaw Soon Eng.
