KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan recently paid a courtesy call on Rural Development Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid at his office here.
During the meeting, among several matters discussed were the construction of roads leading to the border of Kalimantan in Indonesia, Lawas and Ba Kelalan as one of the international gateways through Kalimantan.
The meeting also touched on rural projects, especially in the Limbang and Lawas areas.
Also present during the courtesy call were Deputy Minister of Rural Development II Datuk Hasbi Habibollah, Deputy Minister of Transport Datuk Henry Sum Agong, Assistant Minister of Agriculture Modernisation and Regional Development Datuk Abdul Rahman Ismail and Batu Danau state assemblyman Paulus Palu Ngumbang.
