SIMANGGANG: The Tiang Laju Awards Ceremony (ATILA) aims to recognise students’ achievements in various categories as an incentive for them to strive for excellence and compete for top positions among their peers.

Simanggang assemblyman Datuk Francis Harden Hollis and Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation and Talent Development Datuk Francis Harden Hollis praised the students, teachers, and parents for their hard work in ensuring that students receive a quality education.

At the ceremony, he announced an allocation of Minor Rural Project (MRP) for 2024 amounting to RM30,000 for the SMK Simanggang Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG) to be used for programme costs aimed at enhancing students’ excellence.

On top recognising students’ achievements in various categories as a form of incentive for them to strive for excellence, the awards ceremony served as a platform for the presentation of certificates for the graduation of Form 6 students from SMK Simanggang.

A total of 109 Form 6 students received their certificates.

Muhaini Imran represented the Resident of Sri Aman Division at the ceremony.
