KUCHING: Do not forget to call your parents, Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development Minister Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah reminded children who are unable to return to their hometown for Hari Raya Aidilfitri due to the conditional movement control order (CMCO).
She encouraged parents whose children could not balik kampung not to feel disheartened.
“Be strong. When we win this war against Covid-19, it will be a double joy,” she said in her Hari Raya Aidilfitri message.
She also urged families to maintain love and care for each other despite the distance.
“In this way, the bonding and family institution itself will be strengthened,” said Fatimah.
