SARIKEI: A 100-year-old bedridden patient received an adjustable bed from Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii.
The donation was delivered by Repok Service Centre officials to Leong Fook Eng at Kim San Road here.
Leong, who has been sick for the past few years, has limited mobility and is currently being taken care of by his family members.
In addition to Leong, 94-year-old Lim Ah Gim also received an adjustable bed at Tai Sing Road here.
A spokesperson from the Repok Service Centre said that so far, the assemblyman has contributed 56 beds to bedridden patients within his constituency.
“We hope the contributions from him (Huang) will ease the burden of the recipients and provide comfort to them.”
