CHMS No 4 students receive Naim education awards

KUCHING: Six pupils received the Naim Foundation’s Academic Excellence Awards at Chung Hua Middle School No 4’s graduation ceremony here today.

School principal Johnny Kon expressed his gratitude to Naim for continuously supporting the school and recognising the pupils’ efforts and hard work.

“The awards greatly motivate our students to strive for excellence. We hope that Naim will continue to support us.”

The school’s alumni association president Lee Khim Jung, said the association would assist excellent students and students who are in need of financial assistance.

“We are grateful that a corporate company like Naim takes the initiative to support our school and we look forward to more of such initiatives in time to come.”

Pupils who received the awards would be funded by the group to help them further their studies and also to motivate them to strive for academic excellence.

The recipients of the awards are Caroline Lau, Jong Tao Siew, Goh Kai Shun, Chong Siew Yun, Bong Pik Xia and Emelyn Wee Geok Chin.

The recipients also expressed their gratitude to the group for always supporting and helping students to achieve excellence in education and further their studies.
