CM receives three courtesy calls

KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg received three courtesy calls at his office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here today.

The first visitors was a delegation from the Election Commission (EC) led by its chairman Datuk Abdul Ghani Salleh who had assumed office on Aug 21. Previously, he served as the secretary of EC.

The visit was to introduce the new leadership of EC to the chief minister.

Abang Johari also received visits from the new State Prison director Mohamad Rosidek Musa who was appointed to the post on Sept 17.

The third visit was from the Sarawak Customs Department led by its director Herman Shah Abdullah.
