SARIKEI: The people of Repok constituency expressed their gratitude to their elected representative Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii for his support and assistance he has been providing all this while.
Allocations under the rural transformation project (RTP) amounting to RM30,000 each for year 2020 and 2019, and RM95,400 for year 2017 were distributed by Huang to Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SJKC) Su Dok here for the upgrading of the infrastructure of the school.
He also allocated RM302,000 to SJKC Chung Hien, Bayong — RM72,000 (RTP 2016), RM200,000 (RTP 2018) and RM30,000 (RTP 2020) for its upgrades.
Huang said the Sarawak government is always concerned about problems faced by the people, especially when it comes to requests for funds.
“I, as the people’s representative here, will try my best to help those in need and channel assistance and donations to them,” he said.
