KUCHING: Buy-and-win contests are a great way to reward customers and keep them happy.
Winners of the “My Happy Egg Buy & Win Contest” organised by Lian Hua Seng (LHS) Livestock Sdn Bhd were indeed all smiles at the prize-giving ceremony held at the 7th Mile branch of CS Mini Market Sdn Bhd, yesterday.
“We want to make our presence known, and we want to reward our customers,” said Darryl Wee Ho Nyan, senior sales and marketing manager at LHS.
To enter, customers only had to make a purchase of at least RM10 of “My Happy Egg” products in a single receipt at any CS Mini Market.
Wee said the response from consumers had been very promising, with about 2,000 entries.
“We received all the entry forms, checked that they fitted the contest criteria, then we just picked the winners at random,” Wee explained, adding that entries from all CS Mini Market outlets were included in the draw.
In total, there were three top prizes and 10 consolation goodies up for grabs.
Reynold Ruth was the winner of the grand prize, a Huawei Media Pad M5 worth RM1,499. The second prize, a Huawei Nova 4e worth RM1,199, went to Sahrifah Izaliana Zainudin. The third prize was a Fitbit Charge 3 worth RM729 won by Mohamad Iszwan Zulkarmain Bolia.
The consolation prize winners each received a carton of LHS’ flagship product, “My Happy Selenium Egg 10’s”.
“Our selenium-enriched eggs have a lot of key benefits, such as being high in antioxidants and vitamins,” said Wee.
Ruth, the first prize winner, said that he was a loyal buyer of eggs produced by LHS, and he enjoyed visiting CS Mini Market for his regular grocery shopping trips.
“I’m really happy – this is the first time I’ve ever won a contest prize in my entire life,” said an elated Ruth.
