Deputy minister allocates RM158,500 to 18 associations in Kuching

KUCHING: Deputy Minister for Energy and Environmental Sustainability, Datuk Dr Hazland Abang Hipni recently disbursed a total of RM158,500 in funds to 18 associations here.

He expressed his hope that these financial contributions would be used effectively by the recipient associations to support the planning and execution of their various activities.

The Demak Laut assemblyman also advised the associations to exercise prudence in financial planning and management to achieve their goals successfully.

The 18 associations that received financial support include the Society of Private Practitioners Sarawak, the People’s Volunteer Corps (Rela) of Kampung Tanjung Bako, Kuching District Police Headquarters, Kampung Goeblit Volunteer Committee, Demak Laut Village Committee, Masjid Jamek Betong Committee Members, Sibu Police Headquarters Surau Darul Huda, Bako Cemetery Management, and Sarawak Islamic Council Welfare and Recreation Club.

Additional recipients of the funds were the Parent-Teacher Association of SMK Wira Penrissen, SK Muara Tebas, and SK RPR Batu Kawa, as well as the Village Development and Security Committee of Kampung Beradek, Association of Sarawak Malay Graduates, Rela Platoon SW-033-0345, Muara Tebas Rela Trust Fund, and Pink Ribbon Support Group Sarawak.

The fund presentation ceremony was also attended by Penghulu Amzah Dollah and Taman Sepakat Jaya headman Abdul Rahman.
