KUCHING: A man got trapped in his vehicle when the Mercedes vehicle he drove skidded and collided with a Perodua Kancil car in front of Sam San Kuet Bong Temple, Mile 7, Kota Sentosa today.
According to a report by the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), they received a call regarding the accident at 3.22 pm and dispatched a team from the Batu Lintang and Tabuan Jaya stations to the scene.
Firefighters conducted a size-up, and the operation to extricate the trapped victim in the Mercedes car was carried out.
The victim was successfully removed and handed over to the Ministry of Health (MoH) and later sent to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) here.
After ensuring the safety at the scene, the team returned to the station.
