KUCHING: A male Indian national is suspected to have drowned after he fell off from a vessel near Isthmus Bridge, Jalan Dermaga, here today.
According to State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a distress call about the incident was received at 3.12pm.
The victim was identified as Santosh Kumar, aged 23.
Upon receiving the call, Tabuan Jaya fire station despatched a team of ten firefighters for a search and rescue (SAR) operation.
As of press time, the victim was still missing.
