KUCHING: As Malaysia prepares to commemorate National Day and Malaysia Day, the Sarawak Diplomatic and Administrative Service Association (PPTD) Kembara Hari Malaysia programme stands as a testament to the nation’s unity, unwavering determination and its steadfast commitment to realising the aspirations of its people.

In addition to kindling the flames of patriotism, Sarawak Diplomatic and Administration Service Association (PPTD), remains ardently committed to aiding the less fortunate and fulfilling its social responsibilities towards the community. 

“This momentous event serves as a platform for strengthening patriotism and promoting unity among Federal civil servants while actively engaging in social welfare activities,”said Deputy Federal Secretary and chairman of PPTD Sarawak Region, Banges Munga.

He said this when flagging off the Kembara Hari Malaysia PPTD Programme Sarawak Region at the lobby of the Sultan Iskandar Building yesterday.

He added that this initiative seeks to instil a profound love for the country and cultivate a sense of patriotism within the hearts of its participants.

“Under the overarching theme, “Malaysia Madani: Unity Determination, Fulfilling Hopes,” the association has thrown its unwavering support behind the programme,

“This theme reflects the organidation’s dedication to the TEKAD policy, wherein leaders stand hand in hand with the people, working diligently to ensure that Malaysia thrives as a united, peaceful, and prosperous nation,” he added.

He stressed that at its core, “Malaysia Madani” embodies unity as the linchpin for achieving progress and modernity, rooted in cultural sustainability, creativity, faith, welfare, respect, and compassion. 

The programme brings together 20 dedicated members of PPTD Sarawak Region, each with their vehicles, including cars and motorcycles. 

The participants will travel a total of 97.9 kilometres, encompassing visits to five Federal Government agencies, stretching from Kuching to Samarahan, and a charitable organisation in the Siburan area.

During these visits, the participants will present the Malaysian flag to representatives of the government agencies. 

The Kembara participants will visit Rumah Seri Kenangan Kuching, extending their generosity through the provision of dry rations and daily essentials to the welfare home, alongside presenting the Malaysian flag.
