KUCHING: A car was completely razed by fire at Jalan Green Road here today.
According to the State Fire and Rescue (Bomba) operations centre, a team of firefighters from Batu Lintang station was immediately despatched to the scene after it received a distress call about the fire at 12.08am.
Ten firefighters, one first response team (FRT) and an emergency service assistance unit were deployed to the site.
It was reported that the stationary car, a Perodua Myvi, suddenly caught fire.
The firemen quickly extinguished the fire which had already engulfed the vehicle.
No casualty was reported in the incident while the owner of the vehicle was not at the scene.
