MIRI: Police detained four foreign women during a vice operation on a premises for allegedly offering sex services, Thursday night.
Miri police chief ACP Lim Meng Seah confirmed the arrests when contacted yesterday. He said the women arrested were aged between 25 and 48.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that the premises is running prostitution activities,” he said. During the raid, police also seized several sex items from the suspects and in the premises.
The case is being investigated under Section 372 (B) of the Penal Code and Section 39 (B) of the Immigration Regulations 1959/1963.
