BINTANGOR: Four locals, including a woman, sustained injuries after their car skidded and crashed along Jalan Kelupu last night (Mar 3).
A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firemen from Bintangor station were dispatched to the scene near Sungai Jabai bridge after receiving an emergency call at 11.56 pm.
The Perodua Myvi was reportedly travelling to Sibu from Bintangor when the accident occurred.
Upon arrival, the team performed extrication works to free the woman, who sustained injuries to her left wrist, from the vehicle.
The other three individuals, who sustained minor injuries, managed to exit the vehicle on their own.
The injured victims were taken to the Bintangor health clinic for further treatment.
The rescue operation ended at 1.08 am.
