SIBU: ‘Rancangan Sibu 1’ (RS1) team held meet -the – people sessions at Hin Hua Garden and Pasar Grand Height here recently. Both sessions, which took place from 9am to noon, received overwhelming responses from the residents.
RS1 Chairman and potential candidate of the United People’s Party (UPP) for the Sibu Parliamentary Constituency, Dato Andrew Wong and UPP’s potential candidate for the Lanang Parliamentar y Constituency, Andrew Ting were present at the sessions.
Among the services provided during the sessions were helping the public to apply for the 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M), helping them to check their election voting status and distributing information and community policing crime prevention leaflets and membership forms.
Free eye screening tests, blood pressure tests and glucose screening were also held during the sessions. The next session will take place on December 23 at Sungai Merah from 9am to noon.
