KAPIT: The implementation of infrastructural projects here is the direct result of good team work and close cooperation between the elected representatives and the people.

This was said by Bukit Goram assemblyman Jefferson Jamit Unyat who went live on SARAWAKfm (Bahasa Malaysia) and SIBUfm (WAIfm Bahasa Malaysia) at the RTM studio here last Sunday afternoon.

On air, Jamit recalled that he first became an assemblyman on May 7, 2016. He served for four years and two months.

“I am very happy especially during the past two years as many infrastructural projects were implemented in Kapit,” he said.

He was referring to projects such as the Kapit waterfront river bank protection and landscaping, town square redevelopment, Belaga jetty and riverfront redevelopment, a multi-storey car park, as well as numerous road development projects.

Jamit stressed this is the result of close team work and cooperation between the elected representatives in Kapit and the people.
