PAC Development Training Academy is ready to unleash the inner greatness in you.

PAC stands for Power, Attitude, and Confidence, and is led by two young and goal-driven individuals.

What is PAC and how did it start?

PAC was co-founded in 2020 by Arzmy Hargreaves and Malveen Kaur.

Arzmy is a motivational speaker and entrepreneur while Malveen is a beauty queen.

PAC offers a wide range of services to generate strong and empowering leadership qualities in their clients, focusing and polishing their capabilities and expanding their potential.

The founders

Arzmy, who hails from Borneo, made his name known to the corporate world for eight years by working with reputable clients, providing grooming and personal branding services.

His clients include many notable names and brands such as Petronas, TSYL Vision Sdn Bhd, Bellasimmo, YLH Autoworld Sdn Bhd, Koperkasa Berhad, and TVS Sarawak Media Group, and at the same time, being a faculty member of a local institute.

Arzmy has a background in marketing, advertising and public relations. His expertise includes grooming, first impressions, and personal branding.

He was awarded “Rising Star in Fashion” 2019-2020 by Malaysian Fashion Modelling Pageantry Award and “Top Platinum Professional 2021” by Yayasan Penghargaan.

Malveen is a beauty queen, model and fashion designer. Originally from Johor, Malveen founded The Bunga Project, a charity body to help underprivileged children.

She kick-started her modelling career in 2019, competing also in makeup competitions in Johor.

Her beauty queen career grew after securing two consecutive wins as Miss Hit Johor 2019 and Miss Nightingale Johor Season 2 the same year.

She also represented the country in the Miss Grand Malaysia 2020/2021 and was awarded the title, Miss Globe Malaysia in 2021.

Roles in the faculty

Arzmy explained that both he and Malveen came from different industries but with the same sentiments and values – to lead, empower and inspire.

“I am focusing more on personal branding, networking, grooming and image, and how to create an impeccable reputation.

“My role is to give out formulas on how to unleash the potential that they don’t even know they have. To polish, to help them find their direction, build their confidence and personality.”

Malveen said her role was to be a guide, mentor, and coach to pageant aspirants.

“I focus on molding them individually into the person they are truly within and help them practice the values and principles that make them who they are.”

Pageants, she mentioned, could be very intimidating nowadays, especially when it comes to testing the intellectual level of the contestants.

“I personally have undergone training for the specific segment and I am ready to hand out a personal handbook to speaking purely from the heart which not many are aware of when it comes to pageantry.”

Programmes offered

The programmes start with three levels – Basic, Intermediate and Advanced. These programmes can be customised to the client’s specific needs.

From manifestation, finding the right personality, confidence building, communication skills, personal and image branding, creating an impeccable persona, the art of networking and influence, and so on.

As the academy grows more in the future, there will be more speakers outsourced, with PAC  looking at key industry players that provide extensive training and are experts in their own fields.

“We help you find your purpose and direction. What is it that you want to achieve? Are you simply looking to be more confident? Are you joining a pageant? Are you in sales and you want your brand to be impeccable and influential? Do you want to build more networks by building professional relationships with clients?

“Our target group is in a range of industries, from government and private sectors, students, business and sales, front-liners, pageant aspirants, modelling and fashion industry.”

Why is personal branding important?

Arzmy explained that a personal brand is crucial because it builds consistency in your tone, messaging, content, voice and overall image.

“If you look at the top brands in the world, they do not change how they look or their overall core values very often because that is what people have grown to trust, know, and love.”

He added that personal branding empowers the person to stand out in their chosen field.

“Whether you are an employee looking to rise and climb the corporate ladder or a CEO building your own entrepreneurial venture, or a beauty queen who wants to make an impact and a change in the world, personal branding brings you credibility and attention.

“Building your personal brand adds a key element to your company’s marketing strategy and builds stronger internal communication with your team. That is why your branding starts with you, how you portray yourself will either make or break the rest of your journey.”

The Bunga Project

Speaking of The Bunga Project, Malveen said the project is still ongoing.

“It is something that I advocate, which is providing education for underprivileged children. I always have a soft spot for children.”

For her next initiative, she said that she was looking for a fundraising and donation drive, especially to help children affected by the recent floods by providing them with their educational needs like books, stationery, uniform, etc.

“I am also looking forward to paying more visits to rural areas, finding ways to expose them more to the education that is not taught in schools, such as the art of living while doing something good for future generations.

“They are our future generations, so I believe they have to start with the mindset that they can contribute as well as they grow.

“I am a firm believer of the ‘pay-it-forward’ concept. Someone taught you something, now it’s your job to educate more with your knowledge.”

PAC Academy is offering programmes at promo price until Jan 25.
