KUCHING: In conjunction with the Mid-Autumn Festival celebration, Plaza Merdeka is organising a Chinese medical checkup at the mall’s atrium.

The programme, which is held on Sept 3 and 4 from 11am until 5pm, is a collaboration between Lions Club, Kuching Association of Talent Development and Welfare of Special Needs (KATSN), Divine Will Society, Kuching Traditional and Holistic Natural Medicine Association and Federation of Chinese Physicians and Medicine Dealers Associations of Malaysia.

According to a statement issued today, health is wealth and the best gift that one can reward themselves is to do free checkup.

Meanwhile, the art exhibition during the festival has also increased the special needs artists from seven to 15, featuring and displaying their artworks which are also up for grabs on a first come basis.

“We encourage the public to visit the exhibition, as your support will help boost their self-esteem and promote their self-reliance” it added.

It also then said that Plaza Merdeka is also celebrating its 10th year anniversary with lucky draw’s promotion of prizes up to RM100,000 to give away including a TV set and the latest iPhone.
