(PBB Medan Jaya sub-branch assistant secretary)

I hope the resolutions at this convention, which is being held for the first time in Bintulu, will receive the attention of the top PBB leaders. Most importantly, every proposal must benefit the people of Sarawak.

I hope this convention will be a platform for the state to take further steps towards a green economy and a digital economy in line with the Sarawak government’s desire to reach a high income state by 2023. I also hope all the sharing, especially on the development of the Sarawak Post COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030, will make the delegates understand better the latest policies of the Sarawak government.

I hope this special convention will have a positive impact on the people and make them understand better the development and direction of Sarawak after the COVID-19 pandemic.

What is more important is that all party members must remain united and safeguard the political stability of the state.
