KUCHING: H&L Retail Sdn Bhd (H&L) has donated a total of 20,000 face masks throughout the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak.

The recipients were the State Social Welfare Department (JKMS) and needy groups.

H&L marketing officer Lianny Bujang said the donation would certainly help to ease the burden of the needy.

“It is one of our ways showing that we care for the society and as an effort to stop the spread of the deadly Covid-19 virus, everyone should have access to face masks,” she said in a statement on Tuesday (Sept 29).

Since the Covid-19 outbreak in January, H&L has taken proactive actions in ensuring that all its staff’s, employees’ and community’s health are at their best condition.

This includes temperature checks at all entrance of all H&L outlets, Qmunity or MySejahtera App check-ins and encouraging customers to practise physical distancing when queuing up.

“We strongly believe that these little things we practise are able to curb the spread of the deadly Covid-19. At H&L, we want everyone to have a safe and happy shopping environment,” said Lianny.
