Improved facilities at Kpg Mapu Tantu

TEBEDU: Infrastructure facilities in Kampung Mapu Tantu are rapidly developing following the implementation of various projects.
 
The Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS) reported that village chief Akim Jandar visited several completed and some ongoing projects in the area on Wednesday (Sept 21).
 
The aim of the visit is to ensure the facilities are in good condition as well as identify areas of improvement.
 
Among the areas visited are Rural Transformation Project (RTP) sites such as St Mathew Catholic Church, Kampung Mapu Tantu Hall, several houses under the Sarawak Poor Home Improvement Programme (PPRMS) and the Minor Rural Project (MRP) site of the retaining wall on the banks of Sungai Mapu.
