KAPIT: Kapit District Council (KDC) held a simple gathering to bid farewell to an intern student, Linda Anak Jerry, at the council premises on Wednesday morning.
Linda was a final year student of UiTM Kuching Campus majoring in Bachelor of Science Management (Honours). She was on attachment with the council for two months from 24 July until 15 September.
During her attachment she was attached to the Administration Section of the council.
In her farewell speech Linda from Rumah Peter at Rantau Bidai,Sungai Mujong Baleh, Kapit thanked the council and the staffers for their cooperation during her attachment. She added that has gained valuable knowledge and experience through the tasks assigned here both in and outside the office.
On behalf of the council, assistant secretary, Kelimbik Sibat commended Linda for her dedication and commitment to assist the council in its delivery system.
He hoped that Linda could apply what she has learnt during her attachment with the council and wished her all the best in her future undertakings.
