KUCHING: The Kita Food Festival (KFF), an annual food event that brings together leading chefs and culinary minds from around the world, is set to take place here on Sept 27.

According to a press release, the festival will feature a line-up of Malaysian, Singaporean, and renowned international chefs participating in a series of fine dining and casual dining events.

Additionally, there will be two Big Sunday Barbecues and one event called The Great Mezze.

One of the highlights in Kuching will be a casual dining event at Roots Bistronomy featuring Chef Anthony Yeoh from Summer Hill in Singapore and Chef John Lim from Roots Bistronomy.

The festival will also include two symposiums titled “Kita Conversations”, which will feature TED-style talks from chefs, food producers, historians, and anthropologists discussing topics relevant to the industry.

These discussions will cover areas such as sustainability, food waste, and strategies for making businesses profitable.

After Kuching, the KFF will continue its journey, with events scheduled for Oct 13 to 15 in Penang, Oct 19 to 23 in Singapore, and Oct 26 to 29 in Kuala Lumpur.
