KUCHING: The late Datuk Frederick Bayoi Manggie, who was the former Kedup assemblyman, was a very dedicated man, said Native Land Development Assistant Minister Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn.
“He was a very determined politician and had given his commitment to the people,” he told New Sarawak Tribune when contacted on Monday (Sept 21).
Roland added that Bayoi had gained the support of many and that he had won several elections.
“I have known him for about 20 years,” said Roland.
He also expressed his heartfelt condolence to Bayoi’s family on his passing.
The late Bayoi was 77 years old when he passed away at his residence in Taman Pasir, Serian on Monday (Sept 21) at 8am after suffering from a long illness.
