Malaysian King receives outgoing UAE Ambassador

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah granted audience to outgoing UAE Ambassador to Malaysia Khalid Ghanim Alghaith at the Istana Negara, on the occasion of the latter ending his tenure as ambassador to the country.

Alghaith conveyed to His Majesty the greetings of President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. 

He also conveyed their wishes for further development and prosperity for the government and people of Malaysia, according to Emirates news agency (WAM).

For his part, Al-Sultan Abdullah expressed his greetings to Sheikh Mohamed, Sheikh Mohammed and Sheikh Mansour, and his wishes for further growth and prosperity for the government and people of the UAE.

His Majesty commended the Ambassador’s efforts during his tenure to strengthen relations between the UAE and Malaysia and wished him success in his new duties.

Alghaith also expressed his appreciation to all Malaysian government agencies for their cooperation in enhancing relations between the two countries, WAM’s report added. – BERNAMA-WAM
