BAU: A 48-year-old man was found hanged from a tree at an unnumbered house at Jalan Seringgok on Sunday.
District police chief DSP Poge Nyaon said that police received a phone call around 7.15am pertaining to the discovery near the Jun Rong Supermarket building area.
“Following the call, a police mobile patrol vehicle (MPV) unit and officers from Bau Hospital were rushed to the scene,” he said in a statement.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by the assistant medical officer present.
The body was taken to Bau Hospital for further action.
The case is still under investigation and is classified as sudden death.
