KUCHING: A man was injured when his car overturned after failing to overtake another vehicle at Jalan Pristana Demak here on Saturday night (June 27).
Sarawak Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu said that the accident occurred around 9pm and both cars were heading in the same direction.
“One of the cars tried to overtake the other but ended up hitting the car’s rear right side.
“As a result of the hit, the car overturned in the middle of the road and the driver, in his 20s, suffered injuries,” he said in a statement.
The victim was taken to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for treatment while the driver of the other car was unharmed.
