BINTULU: Community leaders, especially Ketua Kaum and Ketua Masyarakat in Bintulu, should master ICT so that they can keep pace with globalisation, said Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department (Integrity and Ombudsman) Datuk Talib Zulpilip.
“ICT mastery among them is also important to assist the state government’s efforts in realising the goal of producing more ICT-informed community leaders,” added Talib, who is also Jepak assemblyman, when launching the ICT programme for Ketua Kaum and Ketua Masyarakat organised by Serba Dinamik Sdn Bhd at NU Hotel here yesterday.
He hoped that the company would continue to organise more such programmes for the relevant parties.
The event was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities.
Also present were Serba Dinamik Sdn Bhd chairman Abdul Kadier Sahib and Samalaju assemblyman Majang Renggi.
