KUCHING: Miri Entrepreneurs Incubator Club will host the upcoming Miri Education Expo 2.0, which will take place on Sunday, April 28, at the Civic Centre, Miri.

In a statement, the organisation stated that this event will feature participation from over 30 local and foreign universities, offering a comprehensive showcase of educational opportunities.

Toh Kah Shiong, chairman of Miri Entrepreneurs Incubator Club and City Councilor, noted that the aim of this expo is to provide a platform for students and parents to explore educational opportunities and receive guidance for their future learning and career paths.

“Miri Education Expo 2.0 will invite representatives from various educational institutions, including universities, vocational training institutes, language schools, scholarship providers, and more.

“Students will have the opportunity to interact with these representatives to learn about their courses, admission requirements, and future development opportunities.

“In addition to the exhibitions by educational institutions, the event will host seminars and workshops covering various educational topics, aimed at helping students and parents make informed decisions about their educational choices,” the statement read.

Toh invites all individuals interested in educational development to attend, with free admission and no additional charges for inquiries.

Participants will also have the chance to engage with experts in the field and explore various learning and development opportunities.

Miri Entrepreneurs Incubator Club will also extend an invitation to the Minister of Transport Sarawak (MOTS) to officiate the opening ceremony of Miri Education Expo 2.0.

Under the leadership of Toh, preparations for the event are in full swing.

The invitation letter has been handed over to Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin, who is the Minister of Transport Sarawak and as Lee is currently on official duty, the invitation was received by his branch secretary, Jeffery Phang.
