BAU: A man who was going to look for his friend for coffee yesterday morning never made it.
Liew Man Nyan, 64, from Taman Mutiara, Jalan Jambusan here had earlier on gone to Bau town to do marketing.
As his usual routine was to look for his friends for coffee, Liew went to Sepupok on his motorcycle.
Along the way at about 9 am, he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into the traffic railing.
Liew suffered facial and head injuries in the crash and died on the spot.
An ambulance arrived at the scene after being informed by a member of the public and paramedics pronounced that Liew has died.
His remains were later taken to Sarawak General Hospital in a police vehicle for a post mortem.
His family members said Liew suffered from high blood pressure.
