New uniform for MASwings cabin crew launched

KUCHING: MASwings has launched a new uniform for its cabin crew which is in line with the company’s new motto ‘Young, Fresh and Speed’.

Gracing the occasion at Hilton Hotel here yesterday was Datin Amar Dato Hajjah Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Haji Bujang.

Speaking at the function, MASwings Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer Aminuddin Zakaria said introducing the new uniform indeed marks another milestone by MASwings, and its continuous effort to improve the company’s reputation and win back customers’ trust and confidence.

“As our cabin crew are at the forefront of our business, and often times will be the first touchpoint with our beloved customers during their flight, we come to give only the best for them being MASwings Ambassadors,” he said.

Aminuddin mentioned that apart of the company’s ongoing effort to increase quality serivices, MASwings also maintains an active role in this competitive industry by constantly providing promotional deals into and out of Sarawak.

“It is our aspiration to support our local tourism promotion by allowing the people to enjoy travelling convenience with attractive deals,” he said.

He also said that as MASwings is a subsidiary of Malaysia Aviation
Group (MAG), it must play a role to unite the nation.

“MASwings have started incorporating the spirit of ‘Ekspresi Negaraku’ in our various touchpoints, as in all of their newly rolled-our promotional items such as the buntings you see today. And in the near future, we hope to have at least one MASwings aircraft in the colour of our ‘Jalur Gemilang,” he said.

“Recently, the Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Airlines, Peter Bellew has described Negaraku as the perfect initiative to compliment an airline’s own brand which promote positive values,” he added.

Aminuddin stressed that Negaraku is a simple Malay word that means ‘My Nation’, which holds so much more meaning than that, it speaks volumes of the pride and love that Malaysians have for each other and their country, and Negaraku is about peace, about their people who has faith for each other.

“I do believe that there is no better word to describe the love we have for each other, and the reason we are here for one another,” he said.
