DALAT: Dalat’s most popular Theatre Group, Grup Teater KRIS (GTK) will be organising its 16th Semarak Santai Seni this weekend.
To best aged a t 8pm on December 2, the entertainment programme is themed `Theatre Could Humanise Human’. According to the founder of the group, Juni Haji Nor, the colourful event will be held at Panggung KRIS of SMK Dalat.
“This annual event’s 16th edition will see a gathering of the existing and previous members who had been with the group since 2002,” he said. The programme which used to be known as Malam Santai Seni, will feature Slide Show of GTK from 2002-2017, Silat Seni, Modern and Traditional Dances, Contemporary songs, Patriotic songs, Absurd Theaters entitled `Cekaka Dadah’ and to be closed with the drama `#Gila V2’ directed by Juni, himself.
Among the programme’s objectives are to instil the spirit of patriotic through songs, poetry and theatre among the members of the group, students, the citizen of the school and the audiences apart from being an avenue to highlight the discipline and talents of the participating youths.
