MIRI: A panel of four speakers enthralled a full auditorium with about 350 attentive listeners on Sunday afternoon for a forum entitled “Sarawak, Our Future”.

The topic of discussion was about Malaysia Agreement 1963 and Oil Mining Ordinance or OMO (Amended 2018).

Amongst the speakers were State Assemblyman for MuaraTuang Dato’ Idris Buang; Datuk David Teng, former assistant minister and Advisor to Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP); Zainnal Ajamain, activist and author of various books as well as Lina Soo, Sarawak revisionist historian and author of ‘Sarawak Chronicle’.

Meanwhile, Piasau Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew was the moderator of the event. The forum was held at Miri Pustaka auditorium, starting at 2pm and ending at 5pm.

During the forum, members of the audience had the opportunity in asking questions to the panel of speakers on the topic of discussion.
