KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud received a courtesy call from the Baram Regatta 2017 committee members in his residence at Demak Jaya on Wednesday.
The committee led by Assistant Minister of Local Government, Datu Dr Penguang Manggil includes Deputy DUN Speaker, Datuk Gerawat Gala, Telang Usang Assemblyam, Dennis Ngau and Miri Resident, Sherrina Husaini.
The courtesy call was meant to invite Tun Pehin Sri Taib to the Baram Regatta 2017 which will start from 24 to 27 August in Marudi.
