GLOW In The DA RK Glow-Ry Run JTS to be held on April 6

KUCHING: The Land and Survey Department of Sarawak will hold the Glow-Ry Run JTS 2018 in collaboration with sports giant brand, Puma and supported by LSC. Glow-Ry Run JTS 2018 is an evening ‘Glow In The Dark’ race themed 5 Km Fun Run and will be held on April 6 starting 7pm in conjunction with the department’s 100 years anniversary. The venue will be at Celebration Square of Sarawak Stadium.

The press conference and launching ceremony to the run has been made at LSC Sarawak Plaza Shopping Complex on Friday 2.30pm Among those present were the director of Land and Survey of Sarawak, Sr Zaidi Bin Haji Mahdi and its deputy director Abdullah Bin Julaihi,senior valuer of Land and Survey Sarawak Alfian Bawi, LEA Sports Centre Sdn Bhd managing director Raymond Sim Hee Pang, and Sara Urusharta Sdn Bhd general manager Alan Poh. In the mission to encourage local youth community of all races and backgrounds to unite together in a healthy activity, LEA Sports Centre stepped in as the main sponsor of this event, sponsoring various Puma sports products, Puma gift vouchers as well as establishing the main apparel for this run, for the participants and event crew.

The run is limited to the 2,000 participants only with a registration fee of RM 50 per entry. So far response from the public has been overwhelming and positive and registration has been extended from March 21 (today) to March 31. Participants will also be in the run to win lucky draw prizes worth more than RM 3,500 of Puma products and RM 10,000 of hampers and electrical goods.

Registration counters are at LSC Sarawak Plaza Shopping Complex, LSC Wisma Hopoh Shopping Complex, Puma CityOne Megamall, LSC Kuching Sentral and LSC Summer Mall, Kota Samarahan Nestle Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd is also supporting the run on the event day through their brands – Milo, Cheerios Oat Crisp Breakfast Cereal and Nescafe, while Sara Urusharta Sdn Bhd is the official venue through its complex – Sarawak Plaza Shopping Complex – for the Saturday’s ceremony and the Race Pack collection days.

Meanwhile, the Race Pack collection will be on April 2 and 3 from 10.30 am to 9.00pm in front of LSC, Upper Ground Floor, Sarawak Plaza Shopping Complex, here. Each participant will be entitled for a race pack (containing Puma running T-shirt, Puma boot bag, Puma face towel and Puma wrist band.
