DALAT: KSR Dsyco emerged the top winner of the 2018 Mukah LiSUS Women Futsal Competition over the weekend.
With the win of the sporting event implemented under the Sports League For All (LiSUS), the team from Sibu, walked away with RM600 cash, trophy and medals.
First and second runners-up, respectively were Mancit from Kuching and Libra FT of Sarikei, with them respectively pocketing RM400 and RM300 plus trophy and medals, each.
Getting the fourth spot of the competition staged at Stadium Perpaduan, in Dalat, was Oneteam of Oya Sub-District, winning RM200, trophy and medal.
According to the event spokesman who was also its coordinator, Daniel Francis Xavier they also came up with the ‘Most beautiful’ award which was taken by Meq Areen (Dsyco).
Officiating at the final and simple prize presentation ceremony was State SABERKAS Exco Member, Royston Valentine.
Daniel, who is also Dalat District Futsal Club(DFC) Chairman, disclosed that the one-day competition attracted ten teams .
“The futsal competition was jointly organised by Mukah Division Youth and Sports Office, Mukah Parliament Youth Organisation and DFC. The winner will represent Mukah Division in the state-level to be held in Miri by the end of this month,” he said.
