MUKAH: Old habits die hard. Last minute shopping for Hari Raya Aidilfitri necessities has always been the case at all the retailing outlets in this town for many years.
Yesterday, most of the supermarkets here were crowded with customers since morning.
It is learnt that some preferred to go for the last minute rush for festive goodies with the belief that they would get `new arrival’ stuffs which were ‘fresher’ to the ones on the shelves before the Gawai celebration.
Among the popular shopping outlets here were Medan Mall, Glory, Chai Guan, EverWin, Nam Leong, and Gafu.
