KUCHING: A lorry driver was arrested for peddling drugs and would be charged under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952 for possessing 206.97 grammes of ganja.
He will also be charged under 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952 for taking drugs.
The dr iver f rom Kampung Tambirat, Kota Samarahan was arrested on Tuesday at 3.45 pm at a shop at Jalan Setia Raja in Muara Tabuan.
He was found with several packets of substance which were seized and were confirmed to be drugs. The man’s urine was also tested positive for drugs. Now the suspect is detained for further questioning in Samarahan.
