KUCHING: A man had to be restrained by the Malaysia Civil Defence Force (APM) personnel after he ran amok inside an ambulance last Sunday afternoon.
Earlier a team of APM personnel with an ambulance was dispatched to a house at Mile 14, Jalan Penrissen here after they received a report that a man had run amok in the house.
The personnel managed to calm the man down and persuaded him to follow them to the Sarawak General Hospital to seek treatment.
While on the way to the hospital, the man suddenly ran amok and started attacking the personnel in the ambulance. He was immediately restrained by them.
The man was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
