MIRI: A family incurred more than RM50,000 loss after their house at Kpg Murni near here was broken into yesterday morning.
In the 3.30am break-in, the family was fast asleep when they were awakened by noisy noises outside the house.
According to a source, one of the family members then went out to check and was shocked to find their car parked in front of the house missing.
“The burglars are believed to have entered the house through the front windows,” the source said.
Among items found missing apart from the car was a bag containing an identity card, driving licence, credit cards and mobile phones. A report has been lodged with the Lutong Police Station.
