KUCHING: A total of 22 Merdeka babies, 11 girls and 11 boys, were born at Sarawak General Hospital by 5pm yesterday.
According to a spokesman for the hospital, a pair of twin boys was born at 11.14am and 11.16am, respectively.
The first ‘Merdeka’ baby, a Bidayuh boy, was born at 3.25am while the last baby, a Malay girl, was born at 5pm.
