KUCHING: The SJN FC Veteran football club from Sarawak held a friendly football tour in Melaka and Johor from October 6 to 8. On its first day, SJN FC Veteran pi t ted against Melaka El i t e where both clubs were tied with three goals each.

The match was held at Stadium Hang Tuah in Melaka. The three goals were scored by SJN FC Veteran Zakariato Gobil, Muliadi Ngiaman and Malihi Seruji. Sapian Wahid and Fauzi Kassim scored the goals for Melaka Elite.

Surprisingly, both players were former strikers for Sarawak football team. On the following day, SJC FC Veteran held another match against P.P.F.C. in Johor Bahru at the Istana Pasir Pelangi Quarters field where SJC FC Veteran won 4-2. Mohd Shafiq was the Most Valuable Player of the match after he scored all four goals for SJN FC in the match.

On their last day, SJN FC friendly match was against Ten Ten FC at Padang Kluang in Johor Bahru and again SJN FC Veteran convincingly won 3-0. Abdul Razak Ismail scored two goals while Zulkarnein Posa added another. The team returned to Sarawak the next day.
