KUCHING: Batu Kitang State Assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang presented RM200,000 to Surau Nurul Jamek in Kampung Batu Kitang yesterday.
Lo said it was part of the election promises made for the upgrading of the surau including new extension for roofing and toilets.
He said the promise was made during the last State election when Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, who went to the ground to campaign.
